Research
Professor Schubert and her team focus on decisions in the environmental context. They study, for example, the issue of climate refugees, of national and international climate policy and of attitudes and perceptions of environmental problems (www.ied.ethz.ch).

On the other hand, individual and group behaviour in risky situations is a further key focus. Differences between men and woman, the significance of emotions risk attitudes, the reasons behind varying individual risk perception are analyzed.

Professor Schubert is head of the ClimPol Research Network (Climate Policy Making for Enhanced Technological and Institutional Innovations) within the Competence Centers for Environment and Sustainability (CCES). She is Member of WBGU (German Advisory Council on Global Change) and chairs the Advisory Board of the Center for Research on Environmental Decisions (CRED) at Columbia University.
