Research |
Key research areas are, on the one hand, how the construction of knowledge interacts with literary procedures (especially concerning the literary transmission of secret or esoteric knowledge) and, on the other hand, the field of German-Jewish literary and cultural history. |
| Teaching |
The Chair of Literature and Culture Studies forms part of
the Department of Humanities, Social and Political Sciences (GESS) and hence
contributes to the compulsory elective courses attended by all ETH students
throughout their studies. The courses taught by members of the Chair are also
part of the curriculum of the Master of Arts ETH in the History and Philosophy
of Knowledge.
