Development and Cooperation
The MAS program in Development and Cooperation (MAS ETH EZ) prepares students with a university degree for a professional career in development cooperation.
Study semester, project assignment and continuing education semester
The course is divided into three parts: a study semester, a project assignment of 8 to 10 months as well as a continuing education semester. The MAS ETH EZ starts every two years (in autumn semesters of even years). The MAS ETH EZ lasts about 20 months and can be completed extra-occupationally. The language of instruction is German.
Required university degree
A university degree that is accepted by ETH Zurich or a similar educational background is required for participation in the program. HTL or college graduates may be admitted if they can produce an average grade of 5 in their diploma certificate (on the Swiss grading scale of 1-6) and if they have had at least two years of professional experience after graduating.
Fees for study semester and continuing education courses
The fees for the study semester and continuing education courses are CHF 3860.- .
The project assignments provided by NADEL are funded by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC).
