Deputy Head of IT Services manages and maintains the IT-structures at the department.

It is responsible for:

• Planning and selection of ICT-architecture and operations at D-GESS
• Consultation and coordination of ICT at D-GESS
  
• Cooperation in and implementation of ICT-strategy
  
• Information Security Officers (ISO)
• ICT-budget and financial control SAP (fund holders)
  
• Allocation of bills
  
• ICT-inventory administration
  
• Central ICT-tasks (nethz-user administration, IDES-Manager, NAS-Server etc.
• Member of IT expert committee (ITEK)
